Institution’s Innovation Council
Title: Orientation Session for Institution Innovation Council Ambassadors
The Institution Innovation Council of SMVMCH organized an Orientation Session for IIC Ambassadors to enhance their understanding of their roles and responsibilities in fostering a culture of innovation. The session provided insights into research and development, innovation training, and upcoming initiatives to strengthen entrepreneurship and creativity within the institution. The event served as a platform for discussion and knowledge-sharing among faculty members, postgraduates, and innovation enthusiasts.
Time: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Venue: MEU Hall
Attendees: 40 – IIC Ambassadors, Faculty Members, Postgraduates, and other concerned members
Coordinator: Dr. P. Sanjay (Dean of Research, IIC-Convener)
Welcome Address – Dr. P. Sanjay opened the session by welcoming all attendees and emphasizing the crucial role of the Institution Innovation Council in fostering an innovative and research-driven culture. He highlighted the significance of collaboration between faculty and students in driving institutional growth through innovation.
Session 1: Research and Development – Mr. Jayakumar provided insights into research methodologies, funding opportunities, and strategies to enhance research output within the institution.
Session 2: Training Course for Innovation Ambassadors – Dr. Deepika introduced the training framework, highlighting key skills, certification processes, and resources available for Innovation Ambassadors.
The orientation session was well-received by the attendees. The interactive discussions helped clarify the responsibilities of Innovation Ambassadors and motivated participants to take an active role in fostering innovation within the institution.
